Coronavirus and disability

The Business Disability Forum has released this straightforward advice about Coronavirus and its impact on people who may have compromised immune systems because of an existing health condition or the nature of their disability.

It’s aimed at employers who have disabled staff or employees with health conditions. A key thing to note: because of the virus, you may have people declaring their disability to you for the first time because their work had not been impacted previously. Also be aware that they might also find it difficult to get written medical evidence stating that they are more susceptible to infection because current advice is not to go to their GPs surgery.
